It’s a big decision. We make it a straightforward one.

Most people come to us with the same questions. Will it actually work in my home? Can I afford it? What if the press are right? Here’s the honest answer to each one.

“It’s too expensive upfront”

The £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant never touches your bank account. We claim it on your behalf. You only pay the balance.

“I’m not sure it suits my home”

Don’t self-disqualify. We’ve designed systems for all sorts of properties. Talk to us first, the survey is free.

“Will it keep my home warm?”

Yes, when it’s designed properly. We build every system to perform, not just to pass an installation tick-box.

“The press say they don’t work”

Badly designed systems don’t work. Well-designed ones do. Our 5-star reviews speak for themselves.

We don’t just sell heat pumps. We offer a heat pump service.

Anyone can fit a heat pump. What sets us apart is how we design them, and what happens after we leave.

1

A proper survey, free, on site, no obligation

We spend up to three hours at your property assessing heat loss, insulation and room by room requirements. Some installers charge up to £500 for this. We don’t, because we think it’s the right way to do business.

2

No two homes are the same

Two identical houses on the same street can need completely different systems. That’s why every design is bespoke, and why we never rely on assumptions.

3

We’re here long after installation day

Ongoing servicing, performance monitoring and a 10-year workmanship guarantee. We look after the system so you don’t have to worry about it.

4

Designed for maximum efficiency from day one

We design every system to run at ultra-low flow temperatures, between 40 and 45°C. Most installers don’t bother. We do, because it’s the difference between a heat pump that saves you money and one that doesn’t.

450% efficiency. £1 in, £4.50 of heat out.

Answers to common home energy questions

What is an air source heat pump and how does it work?

A heat pump extracts warmth from the outside air and uses it to heat your home and hot water, even in cold weather. It works like a fridge in reverse, moving heat rather than generating it, which is why it can be up to 450% efficient. For every £1 of electricity you put in, you can get £4.50 worth of heat out.

Will a heat pump work in my home?

Most homes can benefit from a heat pump, but the honest answer is that it depends on your specific property. That’s exactly why we do a full, free, on-site survey before recommending anything. Don’t assume yours won’t work. Talk to us first.

What flow temperature will my heat pump run at?

We design all our systems to run between 40 and 45°C, what’s known as ultra-low flow temperature. This maximises your heat pump’s efficiency and keeps running costs as low as possible. It’s one of the most important decisions in a heat pump design, and it’s something we’re very deliberate about.

Will I need new radiators?

In most retrofit cases, yes, but that’s not a bad thing. Running a heat pump at low temperatures requires slightly larger radiators to project enough heat into each room. As part of your survey and design, we’ll assess every radiator in your home and recommend which ones need upgrading. The result is a more modern, better-looking heating system that works beautifully with your heat pump.

How much does a heat pump cost?

Every installation is different, so we don’t quote over the phone. What we can tell you is that the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant is available to most homeowners, and the whole installation is VAT-free until March 2027. Request an estimate and we’ll give you a clear picture of the full cost, and what you’ll save.

Will a heat pump actually save me money?

A well-designed system will, and the savings are most significant if you’re currently on oil, LPG or electric storage heating. If you’re on mains gas the picture is more nuanced, and we’ll give you an honest view. Our estimates include real running cost comparisons based on your specific property.

Do heat pumps work in cold weather?

Yes. Modern heat pumps are designed to work efficiently even when temperatures drop well below freezing. The key is correct sizing and design. A system built for your home’s actual heat loss will keep you warm through a British winter without any issues.

Is there support after installation?

Yes, and this is something we take seriously. Every installation comes with a 2-year workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing contracts to keep your system running at its best. We’re local, we’re contactable, and we don’t disappear after installation day.
